Intermediate Stained Glass
April 4 & 5 | 6 to 8:30 p.m. | Ages 12+ | $149 per person
Now that you've learned the basics, this two-part intermediate class will cover several new topics to expand your knowledge as you create a larger project than in the beginner's class. During the construction of your piece, we will talk about how to design a pattern and prepare your templates from that pattern, how to use stained glass patina to "color" your joints after the project is soldered, and the different methods available to frame your piece. While you're working on your project, there will be plenty of time for general questions as well. Hand tools will be available for use during class, and supplies are included in the class cost. If you're ready to get started on your own, there will be starter kits and tools available to purchase at a discounted rate.
Prerequisite: Completion of "Stained Glass for Beginners" or basic experience with glass cutting, copper foil, soldering required.
