High Frequency Arts Camps

Paint & Create A Custom Mural
Grab your brushes for a larger-than-life art experience. Campers will be working together to plan and paint a mural that will be displayed at Hub & Spoke. Painting on panels will allow the mural to be worked on both indoors and outdoors so campers can get inspiration from nature as well as other artists.

Recycled & Upcycled
This week is all about building and creating with found and recycled materials. Campers will explore the outdoors to find unique things along the Nickel Plate Trail, as well as donated items from Hub & Spoke. Think outside the box using materials ranging from cardboard and fabric to sticks and leaves to create woodland-themed projects.

Explore Mixed Materials
This camp is all about exploring different art mediums and forms. Fiber, mixed media, and more will be the materials explored this week. Campers will create using traditional and non-traditional methods as they dive into the vast materials available and ways to create art. From string art and macrame to pour painting and 3D printers, campers will learn a variety of ways to create and explore the world of arts.

Sewful Cheryl Camps

Fashion & Textile Camp
Explore the world of fashion and textile arts with Sewful Cheryl. Campers will have hands-on experience with hand sewing, machine sewing, draping, and design techniques with various projects. At the end of the week, they will be able to showcase their creations. This new knowledge and skill will empower their fashion voice!

Magical World of Eco Dye
Campers will learn about sustainable fashion and techniques using natural materials to create beautiful designs. Create your own art with hapazome, the pounding of leaf and flowers to make prints. Sewful Cheryl will show steps to create campers’ own magical T-shirt design with an ice-dye bath. Each one will leave with beautiful creations and new ways to design that is good for the Earth.

Anime & Cosplay Creation
Calling all anime fans! Campers will draw and create their own anime character and story and make their own kawaii punch needle patch. Campers should come ready with an idea of their cosplay.
