What is the capacity of Saxony Hall?

Saxony Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for wedding and other social events, including room for guest tables and chairs, head party tables, a dessert display, buffet tables, bar, and dance floor. For assembly-style seating, Saxony Hall can seat up to 180 guests.

What hours can I rent Saxony Hall?

Saxony Hall can be rented between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., depending on availability.

Where is Saxony Hall located?

Saxony Hall is located conveniently off of I-69 in the Saxony Village next to Saxony Beach off of 131st and Olio Road at 13362 Pennington Road in the City of Fishers. See a map

Do I have to be a Fishers resident to rent Saxony Hall?

No, you do not have to be a resident to rent Saxony Hall, however, residents do receive a discount on their rental.

Can I bring food prepared at home?

Yes. There is no documentation or notification needed to prepare and bring food from home.

Can I use a caterer for my event?

Yes, please see our list of Recommended Vendors if you need a place to start. If you are picking up catered food or having food delivered to your event, we do not need notification or documentation. We only require catering companies that are serving your guests and/or preparing food on site to provide us with proper permits and documentation.

Can I have alcohol at my event?

Please review our alcohol policy. We require the following no less than 30 business days prior to your event: 

  • host liquor/liability insurance
  • alcohol permit
  • additional $150.00 security fee
  • licensed bartender with proper permit on file. 

You must notify our Event Coordinator at least 30 days prior to your event, and a Saxony Hall staff member will be on staff during your event.

Is there a service fee for the use of outside vendors?

Saxony Hall does not have additional charges for outside vendors not on our recommended list. We only require permits and insurance, as needed.

Booking the Venue

What is required as payment to book Saxony Hall?

Your base rental fee, a $500 damage deposit, and signed agreement are required to book and hold your date. Dates cannot be held until the rental waiver is signed and the full deposit has been made. If you are reserving Saxony Hall for a wedding event only, your initial deposit will include a 25% base venue rental fee along with the $500 damage deposit. The remaining balance of the venue fee is due 60 days prior to the event. Dates cannot be held until the agreement is signed and the full deposit has been made.

Can I put a hold on the date I want to reserve?

Saxony Hall cannot be held without payment, as we operate on a first come, first served basis. A contact person or account holder must come to Saxony Hall with proper identification during office hours to reserve the facility and pay in full at that time. Facility is subject to availability. No inquired date is promised without payment in full.

What if I need to change the date or time of my event?

Pending the availability of your proposed event date, please contact our Event Coordinator at 317-595-3150 or by email. You must provide written notice of the change of date no less than 48 business hours prior to your original reservation.

How do I cancel my event?

You must contact the Saxony Hall Event Coordinator at 317-595-3150 no less than 48 business hours before your reservation to cancel your rental. For more information, please review the refund and cancellation policy listed on your contract receipt. 

What do I need to bring when I book at Saxony Hall?

Please bring a current driver’s license to prove mailing address (P.O. Box will not suffice for a current address) and your preferred method of payment. Saxony Hall will not take payments over the phone. If you would like to pay by cash, please bring the exact amount due, as Saxony Hall does not have the ability to make change for any overages. You can make payment by check, money order, or credit or debit card (there is a 3% non-refundable processing fee added to your transaction, however this the quickest method to get your damage deposit returned).

How do I get my deposit back?

Upon the completion of your event, Fishers Parks staff will confirm your cleaning checklist, inspect the venue, and notify you of any issues they foresee. If an Events Coordinator is present at your event, this inspection will take place at the conclusion of your event. Your deposit will be refunded to you in the original method of damage deposit payment.

During Your Event

When can I decorate, set up, or tear down at Saxony Hall?

You will only have access to Saxony Hall for the rental time you have reserved. Any set up, decorating, tear down, and cleaning must take place during your reserved time. Please keep this in mind when you are determining how many hours you would like to rent.

Who will do the setup, tear down, and clean up for my event?

For social events, you as the renter are responsible for set up, tear down, and clean-up of the facility. All décor must be removed from the facility, the trash taken out, and the venue reset to original condition at the conclusion of your event, 

All decorations, food, and beverage items must be removed from the facility at the conclusion of your event by you or your hired vendor. Saxony Hall and its staff will not be held responsible for any additional decorative items, food and/or beverage.

Who do I contact during my event if there is a problem at the venue?

If there is an issue with the building that requires a technician or facility maintenance, please call 317-595-3150

For emergencies, please call 911. Once you have contacted emergency services, please call the above number and communicate that the emergency that took place.

What do I need to do at the conclusion of my event?

For social event rentals, all chairs in the main hall must be placed on top of the tables for cleaning. All extra tables and chairs should be organized and placed neatly in the storage area. Any decorations, displays, or additional signage should also be discarded into trash receptacles. Renters must also complete the cleaning checklist located in the front entryway and placed under the office doors for you to receive your damage deposit.

Can I decorate Saxony Hall?

You are more than welcome to decorate for your event as long as it falls within the guidelines provided in our policy listed on your receipt. Any decorations brought to the facility will need to be disposed of or taken with the renter upon your departure. If you chose to decorate using balloons, they need to be securely anchored.

Prohibited indoor items include: confetti, bubbles, glitter, tape on the walls, use of fire or lit candles, nails, or wall alterations. Prohibited outdoor items include: faux floral, fire or candles, confetti, floating lanterns. The release of wildlife, doves, butterflies, fireworks, sparklers, floating lanterns is prohibited due to ecological effects and liability issues.

I am renting decorative items from an outside vendor. Can I store them at the facility before or after my event?

Any decorative items scheduled to be delivered to Saxony Hall will need prior approval from Fishers Parks. All decorative items must vacate the facility at the conclusion of your event. Saxony Hall is not responsible for any items left at the facility.

Can I leave decorative items stored at Saxony Hall overnight?

You must take all decorative items (included rented decorative items) with you at the conclusion of your event. Saxony Hall is not responsible for rented decorative items, and we do not have storage capacity to hold your items.


Do you have chairs and tables at Saxony Hall?

Yes, all tables and chairs at the facility can be used during your event. We have 5’ rounds for dining, (10) 6’ rectangular for food, drinks, or desserts, and (10) 30” cocktail tables.

Are there tables or chairs I can use on the outdoor terrace?

The only venue furniture allowed outside are 30" cocktail tables. You can bring your own chairs for the veranda, or additional tables as long as they do not exceed our capacity.

Do you have linens I can rent?

Renters are responsible for covering any tables they plan to use for guests. They are not required to be linen or cloth, and can be vinyl or butcher paper. Any stains or damage done to tables not properly covered will be withdrawn from your damage deposit.

Is there a dance floor platform or stage?

We do not have a platform or equipment for stage building at Saxony Hall. Typically, a dance floor is sectioned off according to the table layout for Corporate or Wedding events.

Do you have signage or easels to use for display purposes?

Saxony Hall does not have nor provide any decorative items for your event.
